The state has 6 parliamentary constituencies. In which, Ladakh is the one reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Remaining 5 come under general category.

As per records, total number of electors in the state is 69,33,118. Out of which 30.74% of the voters are in the age group of 18-29 years old. And 47.24% are female voters.
